Run

Run or walk one of the world's most beautiful courses, and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast at the finish!

The 8 mile course begins at the end of the road in Ha'ena at Ke'e Beach, then traverses the scenic stretch of road, and one-lane bridges, along the breathtaking North Shore towards Hanalei town, ending at the historic Hanalei Pier.

Start Times

8-Mile: Runners - 7:00 a.m., Walkers - 6:00 a.m.
There will be a free shuttle bus to ferry people from the Hanalei Pier to Ha'ena beginning at 4:45 a.m., last shuttle for walkers is 5:15 a.m., and last shuttle for runners leaves at 6:20 a.m.

5K Run: 7:00 a.m.
This run starts and ends at the Hanalei Pier. The race can be run or walked but there are no separate awards.

1-Mile Youth Run: 7:00 a.m. right after the 5K Run start.
This run starts and ends at the Hanalei Pier.

Entry Fees and Deadlines

8-Mile Run/Walk and 5K Runs: $35 for pre-registration, $45 on the day of the race.
1-Mile Youth Run: $10

The entry fee includes the pancake breakfast and a T-shirt, late registration does not guarantee a a T-shirt or size!

Mail in entries should be sent no later than Friday May 29th. We strongly encourage participants to register online, the online deadline is 6:00 a.m. Thursday June 4th.

Race packet pickup and late registration on June 5th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Hanalei Canoe Club, or at the Hanalei Pier at 4:45 a.m. on race day.

(NOTE: for online registration there is an additional $1.50 to cover the PayPal processing fees)

Awards

Male and Female Runners: 1st Male and Female overall, and 1st through 3rd in each age group.

Age Groups - Youth: 6 & under, 7 - 8, 9 - 10, and 11-12. 8-Mile Run/Walk and 5K Run: 13 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 - 79, 80 & over.

Awards ceremony at the Hanalei Canoe Club.

Pancake Breakfast

The pancake breakfast cost $7.00 per person, all you can eat, and starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Hanalei Canoe Club. Registered runners and walkers eat free!

Course

The 8 mile course begins at the end of the road in Ha'ena at Ke'e Beach, then traverses the scenic stretch of road, and one-lane bridges, along the breathtaking North Shore towards Hanalei Town, ending at the historic Hanalei Pier.

Turn left at Anae Road after the Waioli Bridges, and then turn right onto Weke Road, proceed down Weke Road to the finish at the Hanalei Pier.

The 5k and Youth Runs begin and end at the Hanalei Pier.

The Hanalei Canoe Club is located at the end of Weke Road, right on the Hanalei River.

The building is on stilts at the end of the dirt road section of Weke Road.
